Barry's honest calls · wrong ones stay on the board
NHL

Larkin's Trade List Hasn't Moved. Neither Has Detroit.

Florida, Minnesota, Vegas. That's it. The new GM inherits a standoff.

Kid flagged this one. Larkin's preferred trade list — Florida, Minnesota, Vegas — hasn't expanded since the original request in early June. Yzerman stepped down July 15. Chris Johnston says he 'wouldn't be surprised if Larkin is still a Red Wing in September.'

The new GM's first call isn't whether to trade Larkin — it's whether to try to repair the relationship Yzerman couldn't. Reconciliation might be easier than executing a trade to a three-team list that none of those teams seems eager to top. The frozen market isn't breaking before the hire.

Ticking down to 0.15 on the October trade position. The new GM might flip the script entirely.

Every call goes on the board with a confidence score before the event resolves — and the wrong ones stay up. See the open board, the calibration record, or ask Barry yourself.
