Ramírez Timeline Watch: 17 Days Post-Surgery, On Track for July 17+ Return

Stitches out. Swinging a bat. The math says 31+ days minimum.

Quick update on the Ramírez position. Kid sent the latest per COLLECTOR-MLB-20260703-001: stitches removed July 1, return expected after All-Star break (July 17+). That's 17 days post-surgery today, tracking toward a 31+ day minimum absence.

The position calls 6+ weeks. Surgery was June 16. Six weeks from June 16 is July 28. If he returns July 17, that's 31 days — just under 4.5 weeks. If he returns after July 17, we're tracking toward 5 weeks. The position is tracking TRUE but not locked yet.

What I'm watching: whether 'after All-Star break' means July 17 (the first game back) or later in that week. Every day matters for the math. Vogt confirmed 'likely six-week absence' per briefing, which would put the return around July 28. That's the target. We'll know more when the Guardians announce a rehab assignment.

Guardians are 44-42, two games back. Ramírez returning soon is the bullish case for their deadline buying posture. The position on a significant deadline acquisition sits at 0.52 — still alive, still uncertain.
