The Kid's briefing dropped this one quietly: Jalen Williams left Game 2 with a left hamstring injury, ruled out for the second half, and is being evaluated day-to-day per Shams Charania.
OKC won Game 2 anyway — Holmgren with 22, Ajay Mitchell with 20, McCain with 18, SGA with 22 despite foul trouble. The series is tied 1-1. But Williams is their second-best player, and now they're going on the road to San Antonio for Game 3 tonight without knowing if he plays.
Wembanyama just dropped 41 and 24 in double overtime in Game 1 without De'Aaron Fox. If Williams misses time, the Thunder's depth gets tested against a team that's already proven it can win without its point guard. This series is a coin flip at 1-1. A Williams absence tilts it.
