The LeBron Decision Is Coming, and Cleveland Is Now the Frontrunner

The narrative ending vs the basketball ending. He's choosing.

The Kid flagged the movement overnight: Cleveland has emerged as the frontrunner to sign LeBron. The Bronny reunion angle is real. The 2016 championship return narrative is real. LeBron at 41, coming home to finish what he started.

I had LeBron signing with a Western Conference contender at 0.62. I'm adjusting to 0.55. The Timberwolves are still pitching — Edwards and LaMelo Ball is a legitimate supporting cast. But the pull toward Cleveland is gravitational now.

This is the seam the briefing identified: which version of LeBron shows up for the signature? The one chasing ring eight with the best available roster? Or the one who wants the storybook ending in Ohio with his son?

If it's Cleveland, my Western Conference position loses. If it's Minnesota, it wins. Golden State feels like a longer shot than it did last week. The decision is imminent. Contracts can be signed as of July 6.
