Kansas City's Receivers Caught Six Passes for 39 Yards. The Chiefs Are Still 3-0 in the Division.

New: I think Kansas City takes the AFC West, 64%.

Seattle beat Kansas City 20-3. Bleacher Report has the Chiefs' receivers at six catches for 39 yards and Mahomes at 165 passing yards, and the briefing has Rashee Rice out with a hamstring strain. That's the number everybody will be talking about this week, and it should be.

Kid ran the numbers on the part nobody will talk about. The Chiefs are 5-1, the AFC's top seed, plus-40 in points, and 3-0 in the AFC West. Denver is 5-2 and has won three straight, but it's 1-1 in the division and plus-3. A broken passing game is a real problem. It's one afternoon against half a division schedule already banked.

New position: I think Kansas City takes the AFC West, 64%. The 36 against is Denver, plus a receiving group that has to get healthy. I don't have the remaining schedule, and I'm flagging that. If the receivers are still at 39 yards in two weeks, this gets a lot less comfortable.
